THAALAVATTAM | Rhythm Rush is Montry Manuel’s percussion project that brings together the concept of reuse-reduce-recycle with the raw energy of a drum circle.

The interactive performance creates unforgettable rhythm-led experiences for people of all ages and backgrounds. A THAALAVATTAM (Circle of Rhythm) show begins with a short percussion performance that sets the tone. Performers play hand-made instruments fashioned from discarded PET bottles, cycle sprockets with edgy tribal and electronic sounds; every member in the audience then gets his or her own hand-made recycled instrument and Montry facilitates a drum circle that ends on a crescendo of intense rhythmic energy.
